As we open the doors to future applicants, we’re also preparing to welcome our first cohort to Cambridge. These remarkable individuals are about to begin a transformative journey, and PACE are proud to support them as they explore new ways to create meaningful societal impact.
Who Are Our Better Futures Leaders?
Our incoming cohort brings together changemakers from across the globe. They come from diverse sectors; social innovation, climate action, education, health, and beyond, but they share a common goal: to build a better future.
Each participant has already achieved significant success in their field. Now, they’re joining us to reflect, reimagine, and refocus their efforts toward long-term impact. Over the coming months, they’ll engage with Cambridge’s world-class academic community, embark on a personalised study pathway, and build a 10-year vision for change.
We’re proud to host them in Cambridge Colleges, where they’ll be immersed in intergenerational learning and supported by academic hosts aligned with their interests. It’s a unique environment that fosters deep thinking, collaboration, and inspiration.
What Is the Better Futures Programme?
The Better Futures Programme is an immersive experience delivered by University of Cambridge Professional and Continuing Education in collaboration with the Centre for Better Futures. It’s designed for those who are ready to take their leadership to the next level, whether that means scaling a social enterprise, influencing policy, or launching a new initiative.
The programme offers:
- A bespoke curriculum focused on Foundations, Frontiers, and Wayfinding
- Access to Cambridge’s research, networks, and facilities
- Membership to of one of the founding partner College communities: Downing College, Homerton College, Jesus College, or St Edmund’s College
- Termly symposia and networking dinners
- An outstanding network of peers and mentors, including accomplished leaders and leading Cambridge academics
- A Better Futures Annual Conference, where participants share their vision and impact plans
Throughout the programme, we help leaders sharpen their ideas, challenge assumptions, and build the confidence to act boldly.
