Dr Silvia Stefanova Karcheva

Silvia is a Consultant Anaesthetist and Educational Supervisor at the Department of Anaesthesia, Cambridge University Hospitals NHSFT. She obtained Master in Medicine with distinction in 1995 and CCT in Anaesthesia and Critical Care from the Medical University of Sofia, followed by Clinical Fellowship at St. Michael’s Hospital, University of Toronto. She has completed PGCME at the University of Cambridge Professional and Continuing Education and is currently studying MEd in Educational Research at the University of Cambridge. She leads the Clinical Governance projects for Neuroanaesthesia and Educational Module for PGC/MSt in Clinical Medicine, and is involved in the development of E-Learning modules for Neuroanaesthesia.
