Biography

My research focusses on the application of remote sensing to agroforestry in the United Kingdom. The aim of my PhD is to utilise remote sensing and artificial intelligence to map agroforestry fields across the entirety of the United Kingdom. Using these maps, I hope to estimate the carbon storage of agroforestry systems across the United Kingdom, and potentially identify hotspots for their introduction.

I hold a BA and MSci in Natural Sciences, specialising in Plant Sciences and Systems Biology. Alongside my PhD, I supervise the IA Natural Sciences "Evolution and Behaviour Module" at a number of Cambridge colleges and am a Panel Tutor of the Ecology and Conservation course at University of Cambridge Professional and Continuing Education. I also act as a co-convenor of Researchers' Forum of the Institute of Environmental Futures at the University of Leicester. I am also a member of the AgriFood for Net-Zero Early Careers Researchers' board for 2024.
