Mr Paul Clothier

I'm a learning designer, educator, and author specialising in mobile learning and generative AI. I have worked in education, technology training and learning design for more than 40 years. I contribute to professional magazines and journals and speak at national and international conferences on mobile learning and performance support.

I spent more than a decade at Apple, where I was a Senior Instructional Designer responsible for learning experiences for global sales teams. I've taught courses at Stanford University’s Continuing Studies and currently teach instructional design and generative AI for University of Cambridge Professional and Continuing Education and the University of the Arts London.

My most recent book is Mastering Mobile Learning Design: A Practical Guide, published by Routledge. My teaching focuses on practical, engaging approaches that reflect how people learn and work today.
