Biography

Marie Quigley, is a coaching panel tutor for University of Cambridge Professional and Continuing Education.

She is an ICF Master Certified Executive Coach, Coach Trainer, Mentor Coach and EMCC, ESIA Accredited Coach Supervisor, is Director and co-founder of Empower World LTD.

She is a seasoned learning and development and executive coaching  professional with over 28 years of designing, delivering and implementing  coaching education within varied multinational organizations, cultures  and environments.

Marie has worked in the former East Germany, Singapore, Ireland, Dubai and Qatar, and now resides back in the UK. As a former art director, creativity and experimentation are at the heart and soul of her work.

Her coaching clients range from small, medium and large organizations in diverse industries including banking, oil and gas, telecommunications, finance, construction, educational institutions, logistics, health and wellness, medical institutions and government bodies.

Marie’s style is practical and perceptive. She supports the exploration of real life and in the moment experiences, some examples are; using the here and now experience for learning, parallel process, gestalt, exploring somatic work and the power of metaphor to support clients at all levels of experience to uncover blind spots and create new self-awareness in order to be more effective in their work. Her intention is always to create a safe, reflective space to enable the people she partners with to go within and uncover the patterns of thinking, being and doing which impact success and outcomes.

She is passionate about the profession of coaching. As well training coaches to become professionally credentialed using a number of psychological approaches and coaching frameworks. She believes in the deep exploratory work of mentoring and coaching supervision, supporting the expansion of skills and awareness through thought provoking, reflective and empowering conversations.

She is a  founding member of the ICF Doha chapter, and held a board position as Director of Ethics for 2 years. She works in a voluntary capacity offering coaching to employees working in conflict areas. Is a volunteer coach and coach supervisor for Humanitarian Coaching Network, NHS Project5 and Resource52

For downtime Marie enjoys dancing Salsa, creating abstract art and writing poetry, and sometimes combining all three hobbies at once can create interesting experiences.
