Biography

Rosalind English qualified as a barrister and spent most of her professional life teaching at UCL and Oxford University (Merton College). Specialist subects EU law, Administrative Law and Comparative Law. Once engaged as academic consultant by barristers chambers Rosalind found that much of her research and writing took her into cases involving medical law in particular and the  life sciences in general. It was essential therefore to gain accreditation in this field and hence she took the following courses at University of Cambridge Professional and Continuing Education: Undergraduate Certificate in Genetics; Undergraduate Certificate in Evolutionary Biology, Undergraduate Diploma in Evolutionary Biology and Advanced Diploma in Ecological Monitoring and Conservation (2017).

Rosalind’s teaching style is discursive and anecdotal, with plenty of opportunity for debate and discussion based on present and past case law. As founder and presenter of the successful law update podcast Law Pod UK Rosalind has plenty of experience in online interviewing.
