Biography

Sara Usai is an architect with over ten years of professional experience in practice. She graduated with a Diploma in Architecture (DipArch) from the Glasgow School of Art – Mackintosh School of Architecture in 2014 and qualified as an architect at the Architectural Association in 2019. Her professional background spans a broad range of projects, from large-scale developments to smaller, carefully crafted architectural works. She has worked internationally across offices in China, Rotterdam, and London.

Between 2019 and 2023, Sara taught on the BA (Hons) Architecture programme at Anglia Ruskin University in Chelmsford, Design Studio and Cultural Studies. 

She is currently self-employed, managing her own architectural projects and practice. 

She directs an independent fashion brand and project investigating the clashes and connections between her Sardinian heritage and the urban environments of the large cities in which she has lived
