For Binita, studying the Undergraduate award: Certificate in Strategic Business and Management was a clear choice. The course offered a blend of academic excellence and a vibrant, supportive community; an environment where ideas flourish, and diverse perspectives enrich learning.

“The opportunity to learn from expert faculty and collaborate with peers from so many professional backgrounds was genuinely inspiring,” she says. “It challenged me to think strategically in ways I hadn’t before.”

Now working as a Business Development Specialist for an NGO in one of the most rural parts of the United States, Binita supports the Lifestyle Training and Technical Assistance programme. promoting healthy lifestyles through evidence-based education. Her aspirations centre on impactful leadership. “This course sharpened my strategic thinking. It gave me the tools to make a tangible difference in my sector and the confidence to transition from retail into public health.”

Looking back, she sees the diversity of her classmates as a key strength. “Interacting with peers from different countries and backgrounds broadened my perspective and deepened the learning experience.” The friendships she built weren’t just academic; they led to collaboration, mentorship, and shared knowledge beyond the classroom.

Looking ahead, Binita is planning to launch a charity organisation with her husband in her remote hometown in Nepal. Their mission: to champion the empowerment of girls and support the mental well-being of new mothers.
