For Linseigh, writing has always been more than a craft, it's a way to process the world, uncover hidden stories, and give voice to the overlooked. Studying the MSt in Creative Writing at University of Cambridge Professional and Continuing Education (PACE) gave her the structure, challenge, and accountability to take her work to the next level.

“If you have always been haunted by the itching desire to paint worlds with language; if the words stirring within your mind are bubbling over; if your stomach aches every time you neglect your craft, this is the course for you,” she said. “It holds you accountable and challenges you to push your writing to new limits.”

Her writing explores the lives of people often forgotten or misrepresented by history. “I’m always inspired by hidden stories, I become easily obsessed with the lives of marginalised people who coloured outside the lines of what ‘people like them’ were doing in the past,” she said.

The programme helped her not only refine her creative skills but also process and understand personal experience. “Writing has helped me articulate and process phenomena that I have spent years struggling to make sense of,” she said. “It has helped me settle ghosts.”

“Alongside her writing, Linseigh is building an interdisciplinary career in theatre, immersive production, and storytelling curation. She is currently curating an interactive exhibition on misinformation and has recently been performing in new writing workshops at the National Theatre.”

Push your creative boundaries and give voice to the stories that matter.
