Cambridge summer courses: flexible, fulfilling, unforgettable
Our International Summer Programme is one-of-a-kind. Bringing together over 800 learners every year. In Cambridge. For four weeks of learning, enrichment and connection.
It’s a rewarding and immersive experience. From choosing your own course combinations to learning with leading academics. Exploring Cambridge to making new friends. Many of our learners enjoy it so much they come back time and again.
Personalise your programme
Our programme maximises flexibility, giving you the freedom to mix and match your learning around your interests. You need to commit to at least one week, and attend courses in the morning and in the afternoon. But that’s just the start. Want to deepen your learning? You can take part for up to the full four weeks. Choose from:
- 5 subject ‘streams’: business and innovation; global challenges; history; literature, philosophy, and the visual arts; and science
- over 140 courses (please note that some run over 2 weeks: if you choose one of these you need to attend for 2 weeks)
- 1 to 2 daily lectures on a range of subjects, current affairs and more
Stay in a Cambridge College
As one of our summer learners, you can immerse yourself fully in the Cambridge experience by staying in one of 5 historic Colleges, including breakfast and dinner. For many of our learners, this is a truly unforgettable time, getting to know fellow students and the University from the inside. Local to Cambridge or have your accommodation sorted? No problem: you can join us just for the courses and lectures.
Enjoy special events
From talks to tea parties, concerts to walking tours. Our summer programme delivers a full cultural experience. Highlights this year include Cambridge walking tours and a visit to Ely and its beautiful cathedral.
Submit your work for assessment and gain credits at your home institution
If you’re already studying an undergraduate degree, you can use your studies at our International Summer Programme to gain credits. Sound good? Check with your home institution first and submit an essay, or essays, for evaluation.
Not studying for an undergraduate degree? You can still submit work for evaluation. This can be a great way to check your progress and mark your achievement.
